The Madison Street Boutique, along with our free Career Closet, is stocked with clothing and accessories—much of it new—donated by individuals and area retailers. Volunteers sort through clothing donations weekly. High quality items are identified and chosen for both our Career Closet and Boutique from these donations. Select high-end fashion items are consigned at local resale shops and proceeds from item sales are donated to the Women’s Empowerment Center to help fund its programs.
-
Most items are $10 and up.
-
Donations may be dropped off at the Member Services desk anytime the YWCA is open. Donation receipts for tax purposes are provided.Contact us with questions or for more information.
-
We accept cash and card payments only in the Madison Street Boutique.
-
When we receive an abundance of items or items we can not use in the Women’s Empowerment Center, we share with other community agencies, such as St. Vincent De Paul, St John’s and Wellspring.
